Sustainable design is consideration for the environmental impact of materials and resources used throughout the project lifecycle. It is important to consider options for environmentally friendly web sites and graphics.

The very nature of operating a business online saves valuable resources by providing and disseminating a wealth of information in a paperless system. Developing forms that users can complete digitally and submit online provides an eco conscious solution to unnecessary printing. At emagine graphic, when printing is necessary, recycled paper and recycled printer cartridges are used. Printer cartridges that can no longer by refilled through recycling programs are donated to the local recycling center.

Crafting great digital design does use electricity. To reduce the environmental impact, I use energy efficient power saving settings and energy star compliant equipment as much as possible.
