She earned a Web and Interactive Media Design degree from the Art Institute. As a High Honors graduate, she also received the Dean’s award for academic excellence.

As a designer, she is enthusiastic about staying ahead of trends, but first and foremost, is a professional communicator. Multimedia is a means of telling a story and communicating thoughts and ideas. She strives to achieve a deep understanding of interactions, which allows her to effectively communicate through a variety of channels. As her training is in Multimedia Interactive Design, she is experienced in the Adobe design suite, Flash, Director 11, and using Video and Audio to enhance the intended message.

She has a solid understanding of artistic fundamentals and knows how form, color, space, balance and harmony affect the user experience. Typography and color schemes thrill her. But, as this is only a small part of interaction design, she also has the ability to bring design to life with the latest web and usability standards. She is well versed in CSS, XHTML, Javascript, Lingo and the Adobe CS3/4 Suite. Nothing pleases her right-brain/left-brain conflict quite as much as good, compact, clean code.
