She earned a Web Design & Interactive Media, B.S. from the Art Institute. As a High Honors graduate, she also received the Dean’s Award for academic excellence. In 2010 she was inducted into the National Technology Honor Society.

As a designer, she is enthusiastic about staying ahead of trends, but first and foremost, a professional communicator. Good design is the effective communication of information. Great design is maintaining the delicate balance between good design and usability.
 
With over seven years of experience in the comprehensive field of Multimedia Interactive Design, she has a solid understanding of artistic fundamentals and knows how form, color, space, balance and harmony affect the user experience. Typography and color schemes thrill her. But, as this is only a small part of interaction design, she also has the ability to bring design to life with the latest web and usability standards.

 Krissy has a strong background in website design and architecture.  She is fully proficient in the Adobe CS4 suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Director 11, Flash and the Microsoft Office suite including developer capabilities in Word and PowerPoint. She is proficient in hand coding with CSS and XHTML and has extensive knowledge of, Lingo, php and a working knowledge of action script and jquery. Nothing pleases her right-brain/left-brain conflict quite as much as good, compact, clean code.

Krissy maintains an intense focus on strategic client objectives to drive creative design and exceeds corporate goals for market positioning, customer recognition and financial results. She is a critical thinker with excellent communications, problem-solving, organizational and productivity management skills.
